The team conducted a two-day exchange and study visit to a well-known domestic rubber dam manufacturer. The inspection team immersed themselves in the production frontline, observing the complete production chain of rubber dam bags and comprehensively absorbing advanced technical expertise from the industry. This initiative has injected strong momentum for subsequent business expansion and technological innovation.

Accompanied throughout by the manufacturer's technical director, the inspection team visited the raw material testing center, formula research and development laboratory, blank forming workshop, vulcanization processing workshop, and finished product inspection area. They systematically studied the entire production process of rubber dam bags, from raw materials to finished products. During the raw material selection phase, the team gained a detailed understanding of the selection criteria for core materials such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, reinforcing agents, and anti-aging agents, with a focus on testing methods for key indicators like material strength, aging resistance, and corrosion resistance. In the formula development laboratory, technical personnel demonstrated the formulation and proportioning processes for rubber dam bags under different working conditions, explaining how precise adjustment of raw material ratios can optimize product performance in terms of pressure resistance, wear resistance, and impermeability.

Entering the production workshops, amidst the hum of machinery, the inspection team closely observed key operational processes such as blank mixing, calendaring, molding, and vulcanization. In the vulcanization processing workshop, technical personnel inquired in detail about the control points for parameters such as vulcanization temperature, pressure, and time, and observed the operating principles and maintenance techniques of large-scale vulcanization equipment. In the finished product inspection area, the team focused on learning the testing procedures for indicators such as thickness deviation, tensile strength, and bonding strength of rubber dam bags. They engaged in in-depth discussions on advanced inspection methods adopted by the manufacturer, such as non-destructive testing technology and hydraulic testing methods.

During the inspection process, team members actively discussed business challenges and technical questions with the manufacturer's production managers and technical experts. They exchanged views on issues such as performance optimization of rubber dam bags under complex geological conditions and detail control during construction and installation. Simultaneously, using cameras and mobile phones to meticulously document key information such as raw material specifications, formula parameter tables, production equipment operating conditions, and finished product interface treatment techniques. They collected a total of over 200 images, providing intuitive and detailed reference materials for subsequent project design, technical briefings, and quality control.
This study visit not only enabled the inspection team to comprehensively grasp the core technologies and quality control points of rubber dam production but also established a communication bridge between the company and high-quality manufacturers. Team members expressed that they will fully apply the advanced experience and technical methods learned during this visit to their practical work, further enhancing the company's competitiveness and service level in the field of rubber dam projects, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of water conservancy engineering construction.
