★ Introduction
RO is based on the principle of osmosis. In osmosis, a membrane separates two solutions containing different amounts of dissolved chemicals. The membrane allows some compounds like water to pass through it, but does not allow larger compounds through. Pressure differences cause pure water to pass through the membrane from the dilute to the more concentrated solution. The pressure is called osmotic pressure and this process is osmosis.

In reverse osmosis, pressure is applied to the concentrated side of the membrane (the contaminated side). This forces the osmotic process into reverse so that, with adequate applied pressure, pure water is forced from the concentrated (contaminated) side to the dilute (treated) side. Treated water is collected in a storage container. The rejected contaminants on the concentrated side of the membrane are washed away as wastewater.

★ Application Scope
for saline areas, and seawater intrusion of brackish water desalination water treatment areas
apply to agriculture, forestry, water supply, industrial and mining enterprises owned brackish water desalination water treatment
 apply to desalination

★ Technical Characteristic
Reverse Osmosis plant, the capacity from 0.5t/h to 500t/h, the salt remove rate >98%, using PLC automatic control; Reverse osmosis technology is the most advanced and effective desalting technology in the world for physical separation with macromolecule membrane.

Reverse osmosis equipment composes of reverse osmosis membrane component which is the core, high pressure multi-level centrifugal pump, high pressure pipe, control valve and protective device, and it can effectively remove dissolved salt, colloid, bacterium, virus and most organic compound  from water. The reverse osmosis membrane has the advantages of higher efficiency’s desalt technique, cost effective and reliable water quality compared with common ion exchange and distilling method, and is widely applied in such electronic industry, energy industry, drink manufacture, medicine, middle-water recycling and sea water desalination etc.
