About Us
The Beijing IWHR Corporation (BIC), a state-owned company subordinated to the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR), was established in the year 1993. The BIC boasts experts in the fields of engineering, management and marketing, and has a business scope which covers, but is not limited to, the following areas: resource and development; the manufacturing and export of mechanical equipment; technical consultancy; the application and servicing of water conservancy and hydropower projects; as well as the design, production, promotion, sale and construction of relevant projects.
The BIC's main focus lies in the following areas: (i) Mechanical equipment ( research and development, manufacture, and export of various types of water conservancy and hydropower equipment); (ii) Hydraulic and Hydro-Power Engineering ( consultation, surveillance, design, manufacture, installation and supervision of small and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower engineering projects); and (iii) Water Treatment (water treatment engineering, equipment and materials, drinking water and pure water engineering; rural equipment and materials; rural water supply;gray water treatment and recycling; sewage and industrial wastewater treatment.
