Two engineers from BIC went to Rubber Dam project site and carried out technical guidance in Bangladesh

Beijing IWHR Corporation (BIC) and S.S.Rahman International (SSRI) won the rubber dam bidding project of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) in the form of consortium, and signed Mohananda River Rubber Dam Project contract. Undertaking the bottom slab pouring of 3 sets of rubber dam, embedded parts construction, and civil construction guidance work in accordance with the contract clause.

Currently, the civil construction work has carried out comprehensively, but the project construction progress has been seriously delayed influenced by Covid-19. At the request of owner, BIC dispatched two technical personnel representative to the construction site on April 20 to inspect the construction of all working faces, communicate with the owner, consultant and civil construction party on the technical problems encountered in the construction, and complete the drawing modification of corresponding parts.

On April 25, BIC and two technical personnel in Bangladesh carried out the online meeting to discuss the problem encountered in the construction process. The participants include Mr. Wang, the General Manager; Mr. Liu and Mr. Yan, the Deputy General Manager; Mr. Zhao, the Chief Engineer; Ms. Geng, the Director of Design department. In the meeting, the construction drawings was researched carefully and the feasibility analysis of whether the brick wall is demolished was done. At the end, they reach an agreed conclusion and successfully and complete the meeting.
