The ecological restoration project of the upper reaches of Mudanjiang River in Dunhua City has been completed

Waterbirds fly, fish swim on shallow bottoms, the water is clear and the shore is green, flowers bloom... In the summer season, walking into the ecological restoration project site of the upper reaches of the Mudanjiang main stream (Dashihou Jiangyan Village section) in Dunhua City, Jilin Province, a picture of harmonious coexistence between humans and water is fully displayed before our eyes.

It is reported that Mudanjiang is the second largest tributary of the Songhua River, originating from Jiangyuan Town in Dunhua, winding and twisting from southwest to northeast, running through the entire territory of Dunhua City, and finally flowing out of the city through Xiaoshanzuizi Tun in Yanminghu Town and into Jingbo Lake in Heilongjiang Province. The total length of the main stream is 195.1 kilometers, and the drainage area is 10280.5 square kilometers. The completion of the ecological restoration project in the upper reaches of the Mudanjiang main stream (Dashihou Jiangyan Village section) in Dunhua City will greatly improve the serious damage to the structure of the river beach and the degradation of the ecological environment of the coastal wetlands in the upper reaches of Mudanjiang, enhance the water purification function of the river, and achieve a good ecological governance effect of clear water, green banks, and beautiful scenery in the project area.

This project is our company's winning bid in May 2024 (preliminary design). The project was fully completed in early July 2025, with clear water quality, lush vegetation on the riverbank, and smooth water flow, providing the people along the upper reaches of Mudanjiang with more sense of gain, happiness, and security in the beautiful ecological environment!
