Our company held a training and exchange meeting on SkyTEM intelligent termite detection equipment for embankments.

Constructing a comprehensive prevention and control work system consisting of "research experiment law", "prevention discovery disposal", "capability mechanism funding", and "regulation quota system" is a clear requirement put forward by Minister of Water Resources for the prevention and control of termite hidden dangers in reservoir dams. On April 7, 2025, just after the Qingming Festival holiday, our manager Dou led our department's employees to the Termite Control Center of the Geotechnical Institute of the Water Science Institute to conduct deep learning on the SkyTEM dam termite intelligent killing equipment.

The intelligent killing device highlighted in this training integrates IoT monitoring, video and image capture, and precise trapping technology. It can monitor termite activity trajectories in real time, automatically trigger targeted killing, and significantly reduce labor costs and ecological impact. At the training site, equipment development experts explained in detail its working principle: "Through video capture and big data analysis, the system can provide early warning of ant pests and achieve a precise killing rate of over 99%, truly achieving the goal of 'green prevention and control'
