About Us

BeijingChina Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) Corporation (BIC) a state-owned company that was subordinated by IWHR established in the year 1992.
    BIC owns capable engineering, management and marketing teams, with a business scope covering technical consulting, service and application; product development, production, sales and promotion, and construction of relevant projects; and sales and agency of technologies and products.
The business scope mainly covers:
 Water conservancy and hydropower: provide consultant design, complete set, equipment installation project contract and after-sales service of small- and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower engineering projects; Design, manufacturing and installation of rubber dams;
 Engineering construction of tap water plants, sewage treatment plants, roads, bridges, water supply, water drainage, gas, heating, telecommunication, electric power lines,  subway stops, underground tunnels, subsurface excavation and conduits, platforms and gate dams
 Import & export trade: Handle the import and export of various types of commodities conforming to state policies either independently or as an agent

COMPANY QUALIFICATIONS 
  Engineering survey qualification (grade A for rock and earth engineering)
  Engineering supervision qualification (grade A accredited by the Ministry of Water Resources and grade B accredited by the Ministry of Construction
  Supervision of water conservancy equipment (grade A accredited by the Ministry of Water Resources)
  Engineering design qualification (grade B for hydropower generation in electric power industry and grade B for water conservancy industry)
  Engineering consulting qualification (grade A for rock & earth engineering, and grade B for hydropower and water conservancy engineering)
  Building industrial enterprise qualification (grade II for professional contracting of foundation treatment work of hydraulic structure)
  Grade I qualification for general contracting of municipal works
  Grade II qualification for general contracting of house building works
  Grade II qualification for professional contracting of electromechanical equipment installation works
  Grade II qualification for professional contracting of steel structure works
  Import & export enterprise qualification (handle import and export of various commodities and technologies independently or as an agent)
